Diaz Custom Manufacturing , a cabinet manufacturing facility, is looking for a reliable, responsible Van Driver to make scheduled deliveries to customers and job sites throughout upstate New York and New Jersey . This is a Monday

• Thursday position and is ideal for someone looking for part-time work.

For candidates interested in full-time employment , there is also an opportunity to work in our cabinet manufacturing facility as a Production Laborer or Machine Operator when the van is not on the road. Responsibilities Safely operate a company van for deliveries throughout the northeast region, Mid-Atlantic Load, secure, and unload cabinet components and finished products Make deliveries in a timely and professional manner Assist with general production and material-handling duties when not driving Operate production equipment and machinery after appropriate training Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow company safety and operating procedures Qualifications Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safety at all times Comfortable driving longer distances Dependable and punctual Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with load & unload of cabinet components Good communication and organizational skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and reporting purposes Manufacturing, woodworking, or delivery experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person Schedule Monday

• Thursday:

  early morning start (approximately 5:00am
• 6:00am) and home before dinner time (approximately 3:30pm
• 4:30pm shift end)

Part-Time:

Primarily van driving and delivery duties

Full-Time Option:

Van driving combined with production work as a laborer or machine operator when the van is not running. Full-time employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan. Part-time positions are not eligible for these benefits.
