Safely operate our standard passenger vans using a standard Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
We Pay For Your DOT Physical:
A DOT Medical Certificate is required by law for this role. We fully cover the cost of your exam with our local clinical partners.
Local Routes Only:
Be home every single night. No over-the-road or long-haul regional driving.
Comprehensive Training:
Fully paid professional training program covering passenger assistance, safety protocols, and wheelchair-lift operations. Strong Benefits Package (Full-Time): Medical, dental, and vision insurance What You Will Do Provide safe, door-to-door, shared-ride transportation for senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and human service agency clients across Allegheny County. Assist passengers safely into and out of the vehicle. Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices using certified structural restraining systems. Follow a pre-scheduled, manifest-driven local routing system while maintaining excellent on-time punctuality. Perform routine daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements Age:
Must be at least 21 years old (for commercial insurance requirements).
License:
Valid PA Driver?s License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the past 3 years).
Background Checks:
Must pass PA Act 33/34 clearances (Child Abuse and Criminal History) and FBI fingerprinting (if out of state resident within past 3 years.)
Health:
Ability to pass a standard DOT physical exam and drug screen (paid for by the company).
Physical Ability:
