Job Description
School Van Driver - $16-$23/Hour | Part-Time Keystone Valley Transportation is hiring dependable, safety-focused School Van Drivers for local student transportation routes. Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, an assigned company van you can take home between workdays, company-paid fuel and maintenance, paid training, and summer work opportunities. No previous school transportation experience is required. What We Offer $16-$23 per hour Assigned company van that can be taken home between workdays Company-paid fuel for assigned transportation routes and company-paid vehicle maintenance Paid training and assistance throughout the certification process Required criminal background, child abuse, and FBI clearances paid by Keystone Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Summer transportation work available Additional earning opportunities through field trips, athletic trips, and extra routes Bi-weekly pay Company vehicles are provided for authorized work-related transportation only and are not for personal use. Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position with morning, mid-day, and afternoon student transportation routes. We are looking for drivers who are available throughout the school day and able to work all portions of their assigned schedule. Route schedules vary based on student needs. Some routes include morning, mid-day, and afternoon transportation, while others may include only morning and afternoon runs. Drivers may have breaks between scheduled routes. Drivers who want additional hours may also have opportunities to take field trips, athletic trips, or extra routes. Summer transportation work is available for drivers who want to continue working when the regular school year ends. Job Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes Follow assigned schedules and student transportation safety procedures Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure students are properly seated and using seat belts Maintain required mileage and inspection records Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors Assist students when needed Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License Acceptable driving record Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania school transportation clearances and certifications Complete the required physical Pass required pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing No Experience Required Previous experience as a school driver, bus driver, van driver, delivery driver, CDL driver, or professional driver is helpful, but not required. We provide paid training and help qualified applicants through the certification process.
