Job Overview Join our team as a NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Transportation Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals with medical needs. In this energetic role, you will operate passenger vehicles, including vans and shuttles, ensuring timely and comfortable rides for clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, or limousines on local routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety standards. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring comfort during transit. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow designated routes and optimize travel times while maintaining safety. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability. Communicate clearly with clients regarding pick-up times, destinations, and special needs to deliver exceptional customer service. Adhere strictly to state transportation regulations and company policies for medical transportation services. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage, maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles such as vans or limousines. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL or passenger vehicle license). Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes. Experience in medical transportation or client communication is highly desirable. Ability to adhere to traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times. Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude toward clients and team members. Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling when assisting passengers or loading equipment. Pay:
$15.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 50.0 per week
