Shuttle Driver- Patient Experience

The person holding the Shuttle Driver position is responsible for driving our on-site courtesy shuttle, while delivering service that exceeds our patient and visitor's expectations. The Shuttle Driver will be friendly, courteous and an energetic team member. Shuttle driver will interact with patients and visitors while transporting them from car side to curb and curb to car side. All interactions the shuttle driver has with patient, families and gest will be friendly, helpful and professional at all times. Shuttle driver will have a winning customer service attitude with a clean driving record and ability to drive patients and guests to multiple locations on a hospital campus continuously for an entire shift. Shuttle drivers will provide information and answer questions as needed to all passengers. Ensuring that they have a positive experience. Drivers will act as an extension of customer service and proactively provide information and support to passengers as well as perform real time service recover when identified opportunities exist or escalate to Customer Service and/or Patient Experience as needed. This position requires a good amount of physical activity, to get in and out of the shuttle frequently, in all types of weather. The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Must have excellent communication and verbal skills. Valid Tennessee driver's license. Clean driving record.

Experience:

Previous experience as a Shuttle Driver preferred. Candidates must be 21/23(TBD) years old for insurance purposes.

PRN, Varied, PRN
