Duties Safely operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other designated destinations Adhere strictly to local traffic laws and state transportation regulations while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort throughout the trip Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes accurately and efficiently Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting to ensure vehicle safety and reliability Communicate effectively with clients regarding pickup times, route changes, or delays while maintaining professionalism and courtesy Handle heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility devices or luggage as needed Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar passenger transportation roles Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., passenger vehicle license) with a clean driving record Experience operating passenger vans, shuttle buses, or limousines; familiarity with paratransit or medical transportation is highly desirable Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes for efficient scheduling Ability to adhere to all traffic regulations and safety protocols consistently Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams Physical ability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting or assisting passengers with mobility aids Knowledge of state transportation regulations relevant to passenger vehicle operation Customer service-oriented mindset with a professional appearance and demeanor Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and safety standards Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise helps improve lives daily.
