Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Rollback Driver- Regional to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a rollback tow truck to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles across regional routes. This position is regional and you will deliver in Dallas, TX 1-2 times per week. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, vehicle mechanics, and cargo securement protocols will ensure efficient and damage-free vehicle delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, customer service, and mechanical skills are paramount. As a key player in our operations, you will help maintain our reputation for reliable vehicle pickup and delivery. Responsibilities Operate a flatbed tow truck with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto the tow truck while adhering to cargo securement protocols. Perform automotive diagnostics and automotive repair tasks to assess vehicle conditions during recovery or transport. Safely load, unload, and secure vehicles using proper cargo securement techniques to prevent damage during transit. Execute vehicle recovery towing operations for various types of vehicles, including cars and trucks, utilizing appropriate mechanical knowledge and tow truck equipment. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently. Follow all safety procedures related to commercial driving, flatbed operation, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to ensure a safe working environment. Manage conflict situations professionally when resolving issues with customers or during recovery operations. Keep detailed logs of all recoveries, transports, and mechanical inspections for record accuracy and compliance. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on vehicle recovery towing or roadside assistance. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to operate flatbed tow trucks or similar equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols, manual transmission operation, and safe vehicle loading procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally under pressure. Prior experience with car towing, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and safe driving practices on regional routes is highly desirable. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements required; experience in regional driving preferred. On the job training is available if needed.
