In this role, you will operate passenger vans, shuttles, and other personal vehicles to ensure safe, timely, and courteous transportation within hotel premises and local routes. Duties Safely operate passenger vans, shuttles, limousines, or other designated vehicles along local driving routes and hotel premises. Transport guests, staff, and clients efficiently between hotel facilities, airports, attractions, or other designated locations. Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols during every trip. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and basic cleaning to keep vehicles in optimal condition. Communicate effectively with passengers to provide directions, answer questions, and ensure a welcoming experience. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including handling luggage or personal belongings with care (heavy lifting when necessary). Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records as required by company policies. Skills Experience operating various passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or shuttle buses; familiarity with passenger van operation is essential. Knowledge of traffic regulations at the local and state levels; ability to adhere strictly to safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse passengers. Physical ability for manual handling tasks including loading/unloading luggage or equipment; capacity for heavy lifting when needed.
