Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles, vans, limousines, shuttle buses, and other non-commercial vehicles according to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Deliver goods, packages, or personal items efficiently across local routes while adhering to scheduled timelines. Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage handling, ensuring a comfortable and courteous experience. Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimal routes, adjust plans as needed for traffic or road conditions, and ensure timely arrivals. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleaning to maintain vehicle safety and reliability. Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for cargo loading/unloading while following proper manual handling procedures. Qualifications Valid non-commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with bus driving or passenger vehicle operation preferred. Proven delivery driver experience or shuttle driving background demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes; knowledge of state transportation regulations is a plus. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination; excellent customer service orientation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; experience with manual handling is advantageous. Prior medical transportation or paratransit experience is beneficial but not required. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to ensure safety standards are consistently met.
