Responsibilities Safely operate a cargo van to deliver goods across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Provide outstanding customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery productivity and meet scheduled timeframes Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse activities such as inventory checks, moving items within storage areas, and organizing shipments Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and route records for accountability and tracking purposes Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route driving best practices Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Experience operating cargo vans Physical ability to lift heavy packages and perform moving tasks safely and efficiently Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with freight drivers preferred, TWIC card preferred Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently in a fast-paced setting Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving expertise makes an immediate impact!
