Duties Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including passenger vans, limousines, or other authorized transportation modes, along designated local routes. Assist guests with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the shuttle vehicle to ensure optimal operation. Follow all traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and company policies during daily operations. Communicate effectively with guests, hotel staff, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to check fuel levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other essential systems. Handle heavy lifting when necessary for luggage or equipment while adhering to proper manual handling procedures. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and incident reports as required. Qualifications Proven delivery driver experience or background in bus driving, limousine service, or passenger van operation. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for larger vehicles) with a clean driving record. Experience with GPS navigation systems to efficiently plan routes and adapt to traffic conditions. Knowledge of local driving routes as well as state transportation regulations governing passenger vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks associated with luggage or equipment handling. Prior experience in medical transportation or paratransit services is a plus. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and maintenance routines.
