THIS IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF
- You're already working part time and looking for an extra 2-3 days of work per week on Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends, with potential to scale into a full-time and / or crew leader role in 3-6 months
- You are a safe driver and comfortable driving yourself and others to job sites
- You're alright with a variable schedule to start, knowing that we're a fast-growing company and you'll get more jobs and make more money as that happens
- You're comfortable working outdoors in the elements and performing physically demanding labor
- You're a high integrity person that cares about doing the BEST job, not the quickest or easiest job
- You're a straight shooter who isn't afraid to ask for help or tell it like it is, and you expect others to be straight with you, too
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Drive yourself and crew (1-2 additional) to job sites, based on provided calendar and routes
- Operate lawn mowers and weed whackers to complete residential and small commercial lawn care jobs.
- Operate loppers, small saws, and machetes to clear debris.
- Bag and load debris.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing lawn care equipment before, during, and after each job.
- Work outdoors in Texas weather while maintaining a positive attitude and steady pace.
- Communicate clearly with the crew leader if you have questions, notice an issue, or need help with a task.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a vehicle that you're comfortable using to drive lawn equipment and / or haul heavy materials (truck preferred, though SUVs can work. Sedans and mini SUVs will not work, unfortunately)
- Must be able to pass drug tests (we have a zero-tolerance policy for intoxication on the job)
- Must have care insurance for the vehicle
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a driving record free of reckless and similar violations
- Must be able to operate gas-powered mowers, weed whackers, and blowers or be comfortable learning to do so
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift from the ground
- Must be comfortable and able to handle gasoline and herbicides
- Must be comfortable working in the elements (heat, light rain, etc.
SCOPE & SALARY
Scope:
2-3 days or 8-24 hours per week to start (likely weekends), with increases to full-time likely within less than 6 months should you want this.Compensation:
$20/hour to startPerks:
Water and Gatorade provided, and often lunch / snacks too (still bring your own food; it's not a guarantee that we buy food during the day, but if we do, we take care of everyone).Note:
We will provide insurance to protect against the limitations of standard car insurance, given the use of your vehicle is above and beyond personal use. Assuming things go smoothly, you will be upgraded to a company-owned vehicle within 3-6 months.TO APPLY
