Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for the position of van delivery driver. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations within our logistics and delivery services. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in warehouse operations, driving, and delivery. You will be responsible for managing deliveries, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining a high standard of service. Duties This is the first schedule, starts at 6:30 AM and is back at 2PM Pickup products from various locations while ensuring timely arrival. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Operate a cargo van safely, adhering to all traffic regulations. Perform route driving efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery records. Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area. Requirements Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Experience as a delivery driver with knowledge of route planning. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods (up to 50 pounds). Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Ability to drive in Salt lake city traffic.
