Duties Safely operate shuttle buses, delivery trucks, limousines, school buses, or paratransit vehicles to transport passengers or cargo. Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while adhering to scheduled routes and traffic laws. Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing excellent customer service and support. Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Load and unload cargo or luggage, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring secure placement. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, or clients to coordinate schedules and address any concerns. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition for compliance purposes. Requirements Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial driver's license or chauffeur's license). Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, or shuttle driver with a strong safety record. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo safely. Experience with various vehicle types such as limousine services or school buses is preferred. Strong attention to detail and reliability in following routes and schedules.
