JOB SUMMARY
Embrace the opportunity to provide exceptional service as a Shuttle Driver/Bell Person, joining our outstanding Guest Services Team. Providing prompt and exceptional service and information to guest/visitors. Candidate is responsible for providing luggage assistance and ensuring guests' comfort as they settle into their rooms, maintaining resort vehicles to ensure proper parking, securing and handling of keys. Attend to guests/visitors immediate needs upon arrival and follow through with attention throughout accommodations. Ability to perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal supervision.
JOB DUTIES
Flexible schedule includes morning shifts, evening shifts, night shifts, holidays, and weekends (specifically Sundays) Have a clean driving record Verbally greets and opens doors for guests entering and exiting the front entrance Read, match, and properly complete claim tickets Delivering/picking-up luggage to and from guest rooms Retrieve or carry guest items from vehicle(s). Grasp, lift, carry and/or load luggage and packages into/out of vehicles or onto a bell cart to transport items Escort guests to surrounding areas using hotel shuttle, informing guests of points of interest Maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle and lobby areas Report any maintenance or repairs needed for shuttle Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice. Answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, resort services, directions to local attractions, function rooms, car rentals, airline service, etc. Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome according to standards. Remain calm, attentive, and responsive, especially during high business volume activity and emergencies. Assist the department with other jobs as requested by the Front Office Manager Familiar with resort and local amenities Adherence to key control procedures. Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times Overseeing lobby traffic and welcoming/assisting outside guests. Maintaining a professional, well-groomed appearance and attitude at all times. Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Department Supervisor. Takes an attentive stance to actively greet and assist guests. Anticipates guest needs and acts quickly to handle guest requests. Staying abreast of all community activities. Will work and communicate directly with all Rooms departments, and indirectly with others.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent
Work schedule includes evenings, weekends and holidays
