LAZ Parking is hiring a Healthcare Shuttle Driver to safely transport patients, visitors, and staff between hospital facilities, clinics, and parking areas. In this customer-facing role, you'll operate company shuttles, follow all safety and healthcare protocols, assist passengers with mobility needs, and provide friendly, timely service. You'll complete pre- and post-trip inspections, follow assigned routes and schedules, communicate with dispatch, and support LAZ's people-first culture of teamwork, accountability, and growth. Responsibilities Safely operate healthcare shuttle vehicles on designated routes between hospitals, clinics, and parking areas Provide courteous, professional service to patients, visitors, and staff, including assistance with boarding and mobility devices Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and healthcare facility protocols, including privacy and infection-control guidelines Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding schedules, route changes, delays, and incidents Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or maintenance needs Keep shuttle interior and exterior clean, orderly, and welcoming for passengers Respond calmly to emergencies and follow established procedures when incidents occur Required Skills Defensive driving Passenger transport safety Route planning and navigation Vehicle inspection and basic upkeep Time management Customer service Two-way radio or dispatch systems Wheelchair and mobility assistance Recordkeeping and trip logs Knowledge of hospital/clinic protocols
