We transport wheelchair and non-wheelchair clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, day programs, social outings, church and work ensuring comfort and timely service. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong customer service abilities, and a commitment to safety and vehicle maintenance. The Driver will play a vital role in supporting our community by providing dependable transportation for individuals with transportation needs. Part-time or Full-time opportunities available for Monday through Friday during the hours 7:00 am to 8:00 pm also have morning, afternoon and evening shifts, weekend shifts. Interested in only certain days of week that is an open option as well. Duties Safely operate vehicles such specialized transport vans to pick up and drop off passengers Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, including those with mobility challenges Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to adhere to safety standards Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation routes Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers and healthcare facilities Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and passenger details Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, respectful, and attentive to passenger needs Use smart phone with dispatcing scheduling software Experience Must be 23 Years of age or older CPR certification or willing to go to certification course Previous shuttle driving, delivery driver experience, or bus driving background is a plus Experience in Paratransit or non-emergency medical transportation is a plus Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to ensure safety and reliability of transport vehicles Valid driver's license with clean driving record
