Duties Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, passenger vans, shuttle buses, and on local routes. Ensure timely delivery/pick-up of passengers while adhering strictly to all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly. Communicate effectively with clients or passengers to confirm pick-up and drop-off details, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition for compliance and reporting purposes. Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage, practicing proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Follow all state transportation regulations and company protocols to ensure safety for yourself and others at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or in similar transportation roles. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial driver's license if required). Strong knowledge of GPS navigation systems and local driving routes. Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttle buses, limousines, or school buses. Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed and handle manual tasks safely. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and client interaction. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and ability to identify potential issues early.
