Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plans weekly responsibilities with the case managers or case management supervisor Available to work weekends with flexible scheduling hours to accommodate customer's needs. Comfortable with carrying on conversations with parents or agencies during transports. Exemplifies appropriate role modeling through physical appearance, social skills, professional words and acts, sets clear professional boundaries. Represents MMA in a professional manner at all times. Ability to work without direct supervision and self-motivate. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills Ability to sit for long periods of time. Additional duties as assigned by the case management supervisor. Adheres to Mingus policy and practice concerning creation, editing, transmission, storage, and disposition of all Protected Health Information in compliance withHIPAA. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old Must have a minimum of HS diploma or GED Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Level 1Fingerprint Clearance Card Valid AZ Drivers' License Experience:
Experience in the behavioral health field is preferred.Other Skills:
Must maintain flexibility in a fast-paced changing environment. Ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint clearance card (or have a current valid level 1 fingerprint card). Individual judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills. Emotionally and physically able to assist in physical escort and/or restraint. Must pass medical exam capable of performing the essential functions of this job as listed in this job description. Must be able to help carry an ill, injured, or incapacitated student. Located in Arizona, we provide structured, trauma-informed, and clinically sophisticated care for youth who require intensive therapeutic support. MMYTC staff routinely treat vulnerable youth who have survived abuse, neglect and exploitation in their communities, which provides a unique opportunity for staff to provide life-saving care.
