primary care medical coverage for our employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week (NO cost to the employee). The Medication Technician organizes medications for clients and assists the client in administering their medications. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organization, and enthusiasm. We're looking for someone who is committed and dedicated as well. We are growing and would like to add more members to our team of committed and enthusiastic helping professionals. We operate an AHCCCS-based outpatient drug and alcohol program. Our company was founded and led by a team of people who have multiple years of personal recovery and business operation experience. Recovery is more than a job here - it's a passion! The majority of our clients voluntarily admit themselves to our center. Our program lasts 60-90 days and this is usually not their first experience with alcohol/drug treatment. Many stay in the area after graduation to continue their recovery journey with us or another sober living facility. This is a very rewarding position. We have a long list of previous clients (walking testimonials) who, with the help of our clinicians, have made it safely back into the world, clean and sober, after years of fighting addiction. This is a family-style work environment: The administrative staff, residential personnel, clinicians and medical personnel all meet and communicate regularly about each and every client's treatment plan so we may provide the most comprehensive rehabilitation experience (from admission to graduation) possible for our clients. The right candidate will have a passion for addiction treatment, have an interest in helping those who are economically disadvantaged and be willing to be trained! Our company is currently expanding, so this is a fast-paced position with room to grow for the right candidate. Below is a brief description of the skills/knowledge we are looking for: Requirements for this position Must have an active Level 1 AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to obtain one. Previous experience in the medical field, specifically with dispensing medications preferred Medication administration protocols are followed (verification of the right client, medication dose, time, and proper documentation through electronic Medication Administration Record) Willingness to work hard and help others Competence with completing necessary paperwork on time, providing updates, meeting deadlines, communicating via email, and attending weekly clinical supervision meetings are required Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time Must pass a background check and drug screen We are an equal opportunity employer.
