  • Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Discover the vibrant city of Fairfield, OH—where a welcoming community, great local dining, and easy access to outdoor adventures await.
Working as a travel Cath Lab professional here lets you advance your skills within a dynamic Level III Cardiac Cath Lab while exploring an area rich in Midwest charm. Between challenging shifts, take time to enjoy local parks, nearby arts venues, and a central location perfect for quick day trips. This travel assignment places you in a progressive environment, providing exposure to advanced structural heart procedures, left heart and peripheral vascular cases, ECMO, and Impella support. By collaborating with talented teams and seasoned physicians, you'll expand your professional network, refine your expertise, and gain valuable experience with a broad spectrum of cardiac interventions.
Schedule/Hours:
4 x 10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM Night call: 1/week (5:00 PM
  • 7:30 AM) Weekend call: Every 4th weekend, Friday 5:00 PM
  • Monday 7:30 AM No block scheduling
Preferred Qualifications:
ARRT certification required Vocational/Technical degree in RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program Bachelor's degree preferred Experience scrubbing, running imaging equipment (II, Fluoro), and managing 10+ cases per day in a busy Cath Lab Strong analytical skills for rapid interpretation of ECGs and patient monitoring data Excellent interpersonal communication for patient, family, and team interaction Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain advanced imaging and recording equipment Ability to work flexibly—on call and adaptable under pressure
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies & ablation procedures Prep patients, calibrate equipment, monitor during procedures, and collect diagnostic data Maintain lab safety—including PPE use—and ensure optimal lab/operating room conditions Support patient care from adolescent through geriatric populations Accurately manage supplies and support procedure documentation
