As a Cath Lab Tech in a Level III Cardiac Cath Lab, you will encounter diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you'll hone your expertise by supporting complex procedures including structural heart interventions, peripheral vascular cases, and electrophysiology studies. This dynamic environment ensures continual professional growth and the ability to sharpen technical, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills essential for advancing your career.
Schedule:
7:00a•5:30p, 4 x 10-hour days each week NO block scheduling
Call:
1 night per week (5p•7:30a), plus every 4th weekend (Friday 5p•Monday 7:30a)
Qualifications:
ARRT required Vocational/Technical Degree in RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program (Bachelor's degree preferred) Ability to scrub cases, run II, and operate Fluoro Experience assisting with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures Strong analytical abilities and quick decision-making skills in high-pressure situations Outstanding interpersonal skills to compassionately support patients and coordinate with medical teams Proficient in medication calculation and drug administration Skilled with complex electrical equipment in a Cath Lab setting Commitment to PPE and safety standards Physical ability to assist patients and sustain demanding tasks
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare, monitor, and record data during invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures Ensure a safe laboratory environment and proper operation of specialized equipment Maintain supplies (FIFO), manage procedure documentation, and uphold facility standards
