Key Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cath Lab setting Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures and cardiac monitoring Proficient with sterile techniques and emergency response protocols Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently during high-pressure situations

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, angiograms, and device placements Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to changes in condition Prepare patients for procedures and offer education regarding post-procedure care Maintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols and infection control practices Administer medications and manage conscious sedation as needed Accurately document all aspects of patient care and procedural details Provide ongoing assessment and support throughout the peri-procedural process This is a contract position offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in a specialized cardiac care environment.
