Job Description

Category Laboratory•Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as a Medical Lab Technician by providing vital laboratory services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role runs for 13 weeks and offers you a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient care in a professional laboratory setting.
Schedule:
Night shift 7 days on, 7 days off; followed by 4 shifts of 10 hours (8:00 PM•6:30 AM) and 3 shifts of 12 hours (8:00 PM•8:30 AM) 36-hour work guarantee Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or equivalent Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology (required) Experience in laboratory operations including specimen collection, analysis, and processing Familiarity with laboratory information systems and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to protocols Prepare and analyze specimens to support accurate diagnosis and patient treatment Communicate test results to clinicians in a timely and professional manner Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of laboratory activities Adhere to quality control procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure high standards of patient care
