Qualifications:
Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from an accredited institution Active and unrestricted ARRT (CT) credential State licensure (if applicable) Proven experience operating CT equipment and technology with precision Sound knowledge of safety protocols related to radiation, infection control, and patient privacy standards (HIPAA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing clinical needs
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT scans following physician orders and established protocols Explain procedures clearly to patients, alleviating concerns and ensuring their comfort throughout the process Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing exposure Monitor equipment operation, reporting any malfunctions or required maintenance promptly Maintain accurate patient records and verify imaging data for completeness Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflow and exemplary patient outcomes Uphold safety standards, consistently following radiation protection measures This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a specialized imaging team and enhance your skills with advanced technology.
