Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; specific shifts discussed during interview
Qualifications & Experience:
CT certification and PET/CT experience required ARRT - CT or
NNMTCB - CT
credential Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by NMTCB or RT registered and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by ARRT Valid NYS License BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum 2 years of related experience Preferred, but not required: Familiarity with
GE PET or Philips PET Scanners Responsibilities:
Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate imaging protocols Educate patients about imaging procedures and equipment for cooperation and ease during exams Position patients for optimal results and perform CT and PET/CT procedures tailored to patient needs Assess and troubleshoot image quality, repeating scans as necessary Prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per regulatory standards Consistently monitor patient condition, responding to changes as appropriate Maintain accurate scan reporting and inventory of clinical supplies
