Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Current certification and credentials as a CVOR Tech Demonstrated expertise in adult cardiac operating room procedures Previous experience assisting with complex cardiac surgeries in a high-acuity setting Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Dependability, adaptability, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgical teams during adult cardiac procedures, ensuring a sterile field and precise instrumentation handling Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical equipment and supplies Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and RNs to anticipate procedural needs Monitor patient safety and respond promptly to emergent situations within the cardiac OR Uphold rigorous infection control standards and contribute to positive surgical outcomes
