We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. This contract opportunity is well-suited for nurses who thrive on delivering acute care, responding efficiently to emergencies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Previous experience in an ICU or critical care environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Exceptional communication with patients, families, and colleagues Flexibility to adapt to various shifts as needed
Schedule:
Variable shifts; flexibility required
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to critically ill individuals, closely monitoring and documenting vital signs Administer medications, therapies, and interventions in accordance with physician orders Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans Educate patients and their families about treatments and post-discharge care Utilize advanced technology and equipment for patient monitoring and care Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records Remain attentive and responsive to patient needs and changes in condition This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact for patients in their most vulnerable moments.
