Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Deliver advanced patient care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit environment, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide critical support and perform life-saving interventions, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive, evidence-based care. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and make meaningful differences in high-acuity situations.
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license. Minimum of 1 year experience in an ICU setting. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Proficient in electronic medical records and ICU monitoring technology. Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize multiple urgent tasks. Dedication to high standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. Administer medications, IV drips, and other treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members. Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and documentation. Educate patients and families regarding ongoing care, procedures, and post-discharge planning. Adhere to infection control policies, standards of care, and all hospital protocols. Provide compassionate support to critically ill patients and their loved ones.
