Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment, flexible shifts depending on facility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patient conditions, plan and implement individualized care. Treat wounds, provide advanced life support, and assistance in specialized procedures. Monitor and record vital signs, operate and adjust ventilators/IABP, ensure correct functioning of equipment. Administer IV fluids and medications; suction as required. Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary critical care team. Act quickly in emergency situations, adhering to clinical protocols. Serve as a patient advocate, offering education and support to families. Care for pre- and post-operative patients; some administrative and case management duties.
Qualifications:
Current RN license for California (must be included with submission). Active ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association only—attach with application). Demonstrated experience in ICU/critical care nursing. Previous travel nursing and EMR knowledge preferred. Excellent communication, adaptability, and critical thinking skills. Why work here?
