Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Embark on a rewarding professional adventure in the heart of Oregon, nestled amid the serene natural beauty and dynamic local culture of Helix. This travel opportunity in a well-equipped Radiology - CT/Xray department invites you to broaden your clinical expertise while exploring a region known for its breathtaking landscapes, outdoor activities, and welcoming community. Working here provides a unique window into varied imaging practices and the chance to learn from established radiology leaders. As part of the Radiology - CT/Xray team, you'll handle a range of CT and XR studies, operating advanced technology such as Toshiba CT and GE Xray systems. This assignment is ideal for imaging professionals looking to refine skills, gain exposure to McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR, and expand their resume through diverse work processes—without floating to other departments.
Schedule/Hours:
1800-0630 No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirementCandidate Snapshot:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (OregonREQUIRES CT
Registry through ARRT) BLS certification Active Oregon Medical Imaging license Proficiency in performing both CT and XR studies: RT(R)(CT) required Experience with McKesson PACS/Meditech EMR preferred Familiarity with GE Xray and Toshiba CT equipment Radiation badge preferred (can be obtained post-offer) Comfortable working independently as the department operates one scanner/roomPrimary Responsibilities:
Execute 5-10 CT scans and 10-20 XR studies per swing shift Document and manage images using PACS and EMR Coordinate closely with the supervisor and lead tech Participate in department-specific orientation and complete role checklistsBenefits and Perks:
