Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Step into an exciting opportunity for a skilled imaging professional with a focus on CT scans. This contract-based role offers the chance to work within a dynamic healthcare setting, utilizing advanced imaging technology to provide critical diagnostic insights and support patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in CT Imaging (ARRT CT preferred) Active registration and licensure as required by state guidelines Comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Strong skills in operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CT imaging equipment Demonstrated ability to collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Experience with PACS systems and digital medical records is strongly valued Adherence to safety and infection control standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring safety and comfort Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate imaging Evaluate images for technical quality while recognizing and alerting providers to any findings Document procedures and maintain detailed patient records Manage equipment calibration, routine quality checks, and troubleshoot technical issues Follow all HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations Take advantage of an opportunity to enhance your professional experience in a progressive imaging environment.
