1 Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 3 years of CT experience and ARRT(R) registration for a day shift travel contract requiring cross-training in general radiography. Details Radiology department with 1 CT scanner (GE Optima) and general X-ray capabilities Charting via Epic (Radiant), PACS via McKesson, and AW workstation/software for MIP/subtractions for CTA head and neck Average daily volume of approximately 52 CT and X-ray exams combined, with ~17 CTs per day Position floats between CT and general X-ray 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM•7:30 PM Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as needed Call and holiday coverage required Requirements Minimum of 3 years of CT experience required ARRT(R) registration required; ARRT(CT) preferred Current BLS required; ACLS preferred Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist required (license required if applicable) General radiography (X-ray) experience required Must be able to work independently Proof of address required for consideration (e.g., driver's license, voter registration card, federal tax return, military Form 2058, or W-2 from US government) Full SSN and DOB required for consideration 1 supervisory reference required for consideration Copy of certifications required for consideration Additional Information Performs CT imaging examinations including intravenous contrast injections and CTA procedures with MIP/subtraction post-processing Performs general radiographic examinations as needed May start IVs; ER nursing staff is also available to assist with IV access and contrast administration GE CT experience is not required — experienced techs are expected to acclimate to the GE Optima scanner Responsible for equipment maintenance, quality control testing, and keeping the scanning area stocked and clean May be asked to cover at other facilities within the market Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates First-time travelers will not be considered — experienced CT travel tech preferred
