Qualifications and Skills:

Demonstrated experience in CT imaging within a clinical or hospital setting Valid ARRT (R) certification; CT registry preferred Current licensure as required by governing state regulations Strong knowledge of CT equipment operation and patient positioning techniques Ability to assess images for quality assurance before submitting for physician review Commitment to patient comfort and safety, maintaining confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans following established protocols Accurately document procedures, patient histories, and pertinent information in electronic medical records Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals for optimal patient care Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety and infection control standards Respond quickly to emergencies and adapt to different patient conditions Support patient education regarding procedures and address questions with compassion
