Job Details:
  • Work block schedule with weekend coverage Saturday/Sunday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
  • Night shift coverage Sunday 9:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
  • On-call required 2-4 days per month
  • Patient ratios: 1:1 on nights and weekends, 2:1 on days
  • Responsible for both CT and radiology exams on night shift due to low volume
  • 40 hours of orientation required
  • Must have 1 year of experience minimum
  • Required certifications:
BLS, ARRT R
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Must be proficient with at least one of the following equipment: GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
  • Serve all age groups: neonates, infants, children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, older adults
  • Perform routine CT and radiology exams including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head with/without contrast
  • Must be comfortable with contrast media preparation and administration
  • Ability to start peripheral IVs required
  • Experience with musculoskeletal trauma, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
  • Must have reliable vehicle for assignment
  • May be required to float to nearby sister facilities
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility features 109 total staff beds with 96 operational beds and maintains a comprehensive radiology department. The hospital provides Epic charting system and offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services. The facility performs interventional radiology cases in CT on an emergent basis and maintains both CT and radiology technologists on call for additional assistance when needed.
