Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the breathtaking landscape of South Lake Tahoe, CA—an extraordinary destination that blends outdoor adventure with professional growth. Working amidst the emerald waters and snow-capped peaks of Lake Tahoe offers the chance to explore pristine hiking trails, world-class ski resorts, and vibrant local culture during your time off, making every day a rewarding experience both on and off the clock. This travel assignment presents an opportunity to broaden your expertise in a reputable healthcare environment, gaining exposure to a variety of workplace approaches and building valuable relationships with accomplished clinical leaders. You'll work with state-of-the-art imaging technology—including Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT, Philips digital X-Ray, GE portable X-Ray, and Siemens 1.5 Tesla MRI—allowing you to further develop your technical proficiency. Expect to complete 40 scans per day (15-20 per shift), with night shifts primarily focused on ED cases, supporting a dynamic range of patient needs.
Role Requirements:
Certification and proficiency in CT Imaging Experience operating Siemens CT systems (preferred) Ability to adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment Skill in supporting diverse patient populations Flexibility for night/weekend shifts, including prioritizing ED cases Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
Perform high quality CT imaging scans and procedures Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety at every step Utilize and care for imaging equipment effectively; troubleshoot as needed Adhere to facility guidelines; dress in solid colors (navy blue preferred) or use provided scrubs
