Required Qualifications:
Advanced skills in Imaging - CT Current, valid certifications as required by California state laws Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Commitment to patient safety and satisfaction Flexibility to take call or stand-by as scheduled
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform CT examinations in strict accordance with established protocols Guide and assist patients throughout their procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding Evaluate completed studies for quality and accuracy Maintain a safe environment for patients during all imaging procedures Inspect and sanitize imaging equipment before use Document and report equipment issues and malfunctions to the supervising radiologist Address and document all patient concerns, complaints, and adverse reactions per quality assurance policies Process images, manage paperwork, and assure proper coding for charges Contribute to other areas in the imaging department, including radiology and ultrasound, as needed Uphold departmental, Joint Commission, and Department of Health standards Be available for on-call or stand-by shifts as assigned Perform additional related duties as directed
