3 Description American Traveler is hiring a Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 4+ years of experience and RDCS or

RCS/ACS/RCCS

certification for a 13-week assignment at an academic health system. Details Outpatient cardiac sonography setting within a large academic health system 36 hours per week, 12 hours per day, 3 days per week Schedule is either 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 4x10 shifts from 7:30 AM-6:00 PM On-call required 1 day per week and one weekend per month 1 weekend shift required during the contract, to be swapped for weekday shifts Holiday coverage may be required per facility scheduling needs Requirements Minimum of 4 years of echo/cardiac sonography experience Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field — OR — completion of a 12-month ultrasound program Current BLS certification required One of the following certifications required: RDCS (through ARDMS) or RCS, ACS, and RCCS (through CCI) License required if applicable Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Perform cardiac ultrasound evaluations and communicate acute findings to the cardiologist for interpretation Obtain pertinent patient health history prior to each examination Responsible for timely room preparation and equipment setup between procedures Troubleshoot and report equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor May assist with staff training and education Background check and drug screen are required prior to start; candidates should be prepared to complete drug screening within 24 hours of commitment American Traveler Job ID #
