Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Experience vibrant living in Urbandale, IA—a welcoming community nestled close to outdoor attractions, bustling eateries, and the charms of Des Moines. Schedule:
1830-0700 (overnight shifts) Every other weekend Every other holiday
Qualifications:
Active RN licensure BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Previous emergency room experience preferred Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in emergency scenarios, including triage, assessment, and intervention Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient progress Document patient histories, responses, and interventions accurately Educate and support patients and families during crisis situations Respond swiftly and efficiently to changes in patient condition
