Schedule/Hours:

8:30 AM - 9:00

PM Key Qualifications:

Active NY RN license (and all other current RN licenses); verification via NURSYS Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department RN experience, including pediatric care Documented prior travel RN experience (required) Completed skills checklist relevant to specialty Current and valid AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC must be in hand) EMR proficiency: EPIC experience required Up-to-date resume reflecting required experience and certifications Charge nurse capability highly preferred Ability to float to additional units as needed Navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics Respond to urgent and emergent conditions: stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure Skillfully utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun Support and mentor your team with advanced clinical skills and rapid critical assessments Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using EPIC Collaborate across acute, trauma, CDU, psych, and super track areas within a large 64-bed department
