Schedule/Hours:
Variable scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredDesired Background:
Current RN license valid in the state of Kentucky (or compact) ER/ED clinical experience strongly preferred BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation abilities Adaptability and cultural competency in diverse patient populationsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments within the emergency department Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans Lead and coordinate direct patient care, ensuring seamless admissions, transfers, and discharges Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Monitor, delegate, and verify care activities performed by support staff Provide education to patients and families based on clinical needs and assessed comprehension Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement initiativesExceptional Benefits:
