Job Description
Job Description Are you mechanically and electrically inclined? Do you enjoy delivering quality service solutions to customers? Join our team and become a leader in commercial food equipment service. As a technician, you will collaborate with restaurant personnel to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment, including cooking appliances, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems. Each day, you will typically begin work from home and operate with minimal direct supervision while on-site with customers. Your role will involve meeting or exceeding weekly productivity goals while consistently providing exceptional customer service. Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, or HVAC units.
- Provide regular updates on repair status to customers and the team leader.
- Communicate any necessary parts orders with the team leader.
- Complete service calls promptly and with accuracy.
- Audit truck inventory to ensure all required parts are stocked.
- Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms, adhering to safety protocols.
- Fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled. Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks without constant supervision.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues; installation experience is a plus.
- Journeyman License and CFESA certification are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities and strong interpersonal (soft) skills.
- Maintains a good driving record. Qualifications
- Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
- Two to four years of mechanical and electrical experience.
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive for extended periods daily.
- Willingness to work overtime and be available for on-call shifts as needed. Benefits We Offer
