Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Weekly-$2,420)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a service population of approximately 10,000 individuals. This role requires adherence to established nursing standards, organizational policies, and a commitment to delivering excellent emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The Emergency Department operates 24/7 with a physician on duty at all times. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with professional standards. Perform triage assessments based on patient history, physical examination, and presenting symptoms. Provide comprehensive care to acutely and critically ill patients. Administer treatments as prescribed, including: Medications Intravenous (IV) fluids Blood transfusions Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Develop and implement patient education plans as directed by physicians. Perform wound care, including cleaning and bandaging. Maintain accurate, concise, and timely documentation of patient care. Manage multiple urgent tasks while maintaining professionalism. Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance for scheduled shifts. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Demonstrate the organization's mission, vision, and values in all interactions. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Current certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work, including lifting 20-50 lbs. Capable of lifting and transferring patients. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Manual dexterity and full range of motion in all extremities. Strong fine motor skills for clinical tasks. Mental & Communication Requirements Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills. Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.

$2,000.00 - $2,420.00 per week
