Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Advance your nursing career by providing critical care expertise in a high-acuity intensive care setting. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where skilled professionals collaborate to ensure optimal outcomes for complex patient cases.
Schedule:
36 hours per week Balanced 50/50 split between day and night shifts Every other weekend and every other holiday shifts included
Qualifications:
Active RN license with no restrictions Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in acute care inpatient or current ICU setting At least 1 year of recent travel nursing experience Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-intensity environments Strong assessment, technical, and communication abilities Adaptability to varied shift schedules and willingness to work with diverse patient populations
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients, applying advanced clinical skills and maintaining patient safety Provide comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring, responding swiftly to emergent needs Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, case managers, and support staff Execute and document individualized care plans, interventions, and progress notes with attention to detail Safeguard patient dignity, privacy, and rights at all times, maintaining professionalism under pressure Communicate compassionately with patients and their families, offering support and education This role provides exposure to a wide spectrum of critical cases and supportive teamwork, fostering ongoing professional development.
