Job Description
Category Imaging - Ultrasound Vascular Job Type Contract Take your expertise in echocardiography to the next level by providing essential imaging services in a contract position specializing in Ultrasound Vascular. Your advanced technical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care will support accurate diagnoses and ensure the highest standards in cardiovascular imaging.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position with defined shifts based on facility needsKey Qualifications:
Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with an emphasis in echocardiography Approved coursework in arrhythmia detection Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as a registered echocardiographer Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required CPR certification required (AHA & ARC accepted) Proven ability to perform quality, comprehensive echocardiogram studies Sound technical judgment and skillset to operate unsupervised Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities Exceptional organizational talents and keen attention to detail Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity Ability to manage time effectively and consistently meet deadlines Comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a teamKey Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough and accurate vascular ultrasound and echocardiogram studies according to physician orders and established protocols Analyze, document, and communicate clinical findings clearly and promptly Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality patient care Ensure equipment is used properly and maintain accurate records of all performed procedures Uphold departmental policies and safety standards throughout every assignment Advance your career by making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
