Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced RN with a strong background in intensive care nursing. This position is ideal for a compassionate, adaptable nurse with a proven ability to provide high-quality care in a critical care environment. You will be responsible for managing patients with complex medical conditions and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year recent experience in ICU or critical care setting Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize patient needs Experience with EMR systems preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, assess, and document the condition of critically ill patients Administer prescribed medications, manage ventilators, and operate specialized ICU equipment Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Provide education and support to patients and their families during hospitalization Respond promptly to emergencies and adapt to rapidly changing clinical situations Maintain accurate patient records and participate in quality improvement initiatives Working in this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference each day for patients requiring advanced intensive care interventions.
