As a Registered Nurse with expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR), you'll apply current, evidence-based nursing practices to help deliver exceptional, patient-focused care. Your daily responsibilities will span key diagnostic areas, including CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/Pet, with focus on individualized assessment, intervention, and documentation.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid RN license in New Jersey Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Interventional Radiology or relevant imaging services Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills Ability to perform thorough age and disease-specific assessments BLS and ACLS certification required

Core Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures Develop and coordinate detailed patient care plans Conduct continual assessments to identify patient needs and adjust care accordingly Implement therapeutic nursing interventions and document patient care activities Support evidence-based practice adoption throughout care delivery processes Recognize and respond to changes in patient status, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Provide culturally sensitive patient and family education
