As an Imaging IR Tech, you'll gain valuable exposure to varied interventional radiology practices and collaborate alongside talented clinicians. Schedule/Hours:
Typical 8- to 12-hour shifts based on facility needs Some evening or on-call responsibilities may be required
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT certification required Active state licensure (or eligibility) for radiologic technology Previous interventional radiology (IR) technologist experience preferred Strong understanding of IR equipment, patient care, and safety standards Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in performing image-guided interventions Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures Accurately document procedures, patient information, and maintain records in compliance with regulations Adhere to radiation protection and infection control protocols
