As an RN specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry, you will contribute to a large, 340-bed Level II Trauma Center. Expect to expand your skills through exposure to different inpatient units, diverse leadership styles, and dynamic team cultures. Floating across Med/Surg and Telemetry areas ensures no two shifts are alike and you'll collaborate with a wide spectrum of healthcare professionals, broadening your clinical acumen and building a robust resume for future roles.

Schedule/Hours:

8-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week (12-hour night shifts) Every other weekend & holiday rotation No on-call/call-back obligations No blocked scheduling

Qualifications:

Active KY or Compact RN License Minimum 1 year RN experience in MS/Tele; Level I or II Trauma exposure required

AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS

certifications (attach with submission) Proficiency in reading/interpreting tele strips; EKG test required during compliance Familiarity with Care View/EPIC (on-site training available)

COVID-19

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality care to patients in Med-Surg and Telemetry units Float between inpatient areas as needed, occasionally assisting as an aide Effectively manage a patient ratio of up to 1:6 Maintain excellent charting and critical thinking skills
