Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Grove City, OH

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Travel Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry care. This contract role requires skilled nursing professionals prepared to work in a dynamic and collaborative hospital environment.

Schedule/Hours:

Night shift, 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Key Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of experience in Medical-Surgical, Orthopedic, or Telemetry nursing Proven adaptability to float between different units and care settings as needed Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with medical, surgical, orthopedic, and telemetry needs Complete thorough patient assessments and documentation within established timelines Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and established protocols Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns as needed Participate actively in daily patient rounds and care planning Delegate appropriately to supporting staff in accordance with policy Adapt quickly to changing operational needs, including floating to alternate units or care sites
